Train of lamps along the street
Slowly plods somewhere, but
This procession who does lead?
- Mistress in a mystic garb...
Broken bottle by the lamp
I have noticed, "What in you?"
- Moonless night I try to mend,
Lamp through me is like a moon.
I keep walking 'long the street,
Bearing questions, but the road
Doth prolong perplexity,
"Answer absent, I tell not..."
On the spot I stood, around -
Windows winking not, are looking;
Lamps in circle nod and bow
To the mistress sitting, musing
On the stela still...
- I collect the tracks of birds...
Maiden said, "Perhaps you will
Leave me aught..."
Me: I have ink Chinese with me,
I may write in Arabic:
إني ارتقيتُ إلى طودٍ بلا قدمٍ
له مَراقٍ على غيري مصاعيب
I ascended the mount without making steps,
The stairs hard for others it has.

Mistress: Do you hear trees around,
"Who this symbol will expound?"
Me: Some images I have, it may
Unroll the way:
صار سيرهم من عالم الناسوت
نحو فضاء اللاهوت سيراً كيفياً،
وعروجهم نحوه عروجاً معنوياً
So their journey from the world of humanity
to the space of divinity become qualitative
journey, their ascent to Him - the meaningful ascent.
Al-Jilani
The mirror met Enigma once,
"Look in yourself, reflection this
I shall on thee bestow, but
Find Me!" Enigma said, "Be with
The mirrors filled..."
Repeated echo fading, "Lo,
A door leads to a door..."
В самом деле, с появлением каждого чина
сущих возникает и свойственное ему
качество, причём такое, которого прежде не было.
Indeed, with the appearance of every rank of beings
appears the appropriate to it quality which
hasn't been before.

Said Names, "O seeking to receive,
Partake in us, aspire, give!"
وليعمر أوقاته بما هو أولى به، وليحذر
العبد أن تفتح له خزائن الغفلات
He spends his time on the most important,
being always cautious lest the chests of
ignorance and futility to be opened for him.
Mistress: How many can this ink transmit,
The hours of night as if in it...

"For servitude - a meed."
