Konya. The Stones

On the shelf the stones I put -
I have gathered in the brook:
Stones almond, black, and green,
Tell me what you have within...

- We are energies, and each
Has a subtle shine and speech...
Thus we can affect, increase,
But not every one it sees...

Stones orange, red, and grey
I have added in array...

- We can faintly elevate,
In the order all together when...

But the window faded fair,
"Don't divulge the rest, forbear!"

Composition lacks the yellow,
By my window little sparrow
Chirps, "You see me not...
You seek something I have brought..."
The door I opened hastily.

Dervish: Asleep
Have fallen lonely lanes;
Forgot
The snow their names...
The road
Will find but only bird...

Me:
تشنگان گر آب جویند از جهان
آب، جویَد هم به عالَمْ تِشنگان

If in the world a thirsty water seek,
The water also for the thirsty seek.
Rumi, Masnavi 1:1744

Dervish: This piece of morning ray, -
This amber yellow take!

لا تهتم برزقك فإن طلبه لك اشد
من طلبك له. إذا حصل لك رزق
اليوم فدع عنك الاهتمام برزق غد

Don't worry because of your sustenance:
it seeks you more
than you seek it. When
your daily ration came,
leave all unrest about morrow.
Al-Jilani

Me: Thank you, master, thou maybé
Will tell of anything..?

Dervish: With pleasure flute is singing
For one who loves to listen...
On Gratitude - another meaning:

〈إِمَّ شَاكِراً وَإِمَّ كَفُورًا〉:
عن الصادق رضي الله عنه قال:
عرفناه إمّا آخذاً، وإمّا تاركاً

"Whether thankful, or denying":
Al-Sādik said, be content with him God:
Whether one is receiving, or leaving.
Mohsen Feiz Kashani

Who accepted - in increase,
Who denied - in failure is;
So Gratitude - acceptance of
His messengers and gifts.

He that receiveth you receiveth me,
and he that receiveth me receiveth him
that sent me.
Matthew 10:40

Remember Name of God:

الشَّكُورُ

The Grateful.

When Names expelled, alack, then who
Will bring the water from the brook?
A stale and listless grief, -
The echo vanished, ceased...

وأكثرُ عقوباتِ الخلق من قلّة
الشكر على النعم. وأصلُ قِلّةِ الشُّكر
الجهلُ بالنعمة، وسببُ الجهل
بالنعمة قصورُ العلم بالله تعالى

The most afflictions of people are from
lack of gratitude for
the good. The root of ingratitude is
ignorance of the blessing. And
the reason of ignorance of the blessing
is lack of knowledge of God, exalted is He.
Al-Makki

The round is being finished here, -
On paper yet is written year, -
We made of it a paper bird, -
'Twill fly and shout, "Road..."
