At the window deep as well
I look still as fisher when
Late and later on the clock,
Yet is empty bag. It got
Darker... "Rather try
Where is deeper!" Whispered night.

In the yellow lulling light
Of lamp are fading sounds, I

Someone's knocking seems, I did
Open door; The Dervish with
A busket, "I have brought
A commént'ry!" Yet upon
The floor a woven busket thus
He put, "The book from past
Hath breath within..."
Me: Tell me further, what is in
The basket thine...
Dervish: Energy within abide,
Not a lot who can espy
What the objects have within:
Then he took the cloak of Elijah
that had fallen from him and struck
the water, saying, "Where is the Lord,
the God of Elijah?" And when he had
struck the water, the water was
parted to the one side and to the other,
and Elisha went over.

Me: Why do the olden objects speak?
Dervish: Invokes the vision thing of past,
Because the breath of time it hath.
کَوْن پُر چاره ست و هیچت چاره نی
تا که نگشاید خدایت روزنی
گر چه تو هستی کنون غافل از آن
وقت حاجت، حق کند آن را عیان
The world's full of remedies ye do not see,
Until God opens a window for ye;
If unaware of something now you are,
God in the time of need will reveal.
